Delicious, fresh, and you can pronounce the names of all the ingredient!
The need for creating my own coffee creamer became evident when I could no longer find my “usual” Bliss brand creamer at any of my grocery stores. Bliss was the “least worst” of them all it seemed as I could pronounce the ingredients and is is pretty good.
So what do I do now that I can’t find a good, safe, natural creamer? Make My Own!
This recipe is simple and only takes 5 minutes to make. This batch lasts about two weeks for me, I hope you enjoy it.
Yield: 27 ounces Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: zero Total Time: 5 minutes
• 1 can sweetened condensed milk
• 13 ounces organic half & half or milk
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• Measure out 13 ounces of milk (your choice of half & half, whole, 2%, non fat, etc.)
• Add the can of sweetened condensed milk (they make a non fat version but it has a chemical in it so I don’t use it)
• Mix with a wire whisk
• Add 1 tsp. of vanilla
Thats it!, pour and store in your favorite container. Be sure to label with the date…this is “real food” and won’t sit on a shelf for years like a lot of things you can buy today!
PS: You can alter this recipe with any flavors you like i.e. cocoa powder to make a chocolate flavored creamer, almond extract, etc.
Three simple ingredients is all you need!
Just add the ingredients to a bowl and stir with a whisk!
