The new trend in nail colors is becoming “anything goes”. I remember when clear, red, and pink were the main nail colors. Now its blues, greens yellows, purples and sparkle. Aw … you got to love them all. Color makes the world a more beautiful place and having the variety on your fingers makes it even brighter and fun. But sometimes these colors can yellow the nails. Here is a tip I thought I would share with you fun color loving peeps, if you paint your nail first with a coat a white – just a plain white for your base it will protect the nails from changing color. Give it a try it really works.
If you do not have white and that dark color is just dying to jump on the nails you can soak your nails after removing your dark nail color in a solution of hydrogen peroxide and a bit of baking soda. The other method I found works is to use lemon juice. Lemon juice is a natural brightener and it will remove some yellowing. Then wash your nails and scrub them gently with a natural brush and wipe each nail gently with vinegar. Hope this works for you as well as it did for me.

I love this little nail machine. It was only $8 at Walmart. But beware of that metal one, it can do damage.
I used it on my cuticles and it made a little indentation on my nail.
The buffer/file is wonderful, – makes your nails feel like silk, just go by the 1-2-3-4 steps – a great gift from my sweet neighbor.
